Apple To Kill The IPod Classic, Shuffle?

IPod nano, an advocate in the venerable world of consumer technology, you can get an ax in one of his cousin, the iPod shuffle, the blog, which focuses on Apple news.

Citing an anonymous source, The Unofficial Apple Weblog reports that, in addition to presenting the iPhone 5 next week, Apple plans to remove outdated versions of his music in favor of smoother models, like the iPod Nano and iPod Touch.

Blog notes that Apple pulled the "product transition" during the most recent report earnings.

To say that the source is not an analyst, says the rumor TUAW sense.

"The classic is a legacy of 10 years and the existence of the iPod, has many similarities with the original iPod," writes editor Victor Ágreda blog, Jr. "The shuffle is basically the same form factor as the nano less than a monitor. "

He writes that the blog was "sitting up" about the killing and wrote only on speculation checked on other sites.

A unit of personal technology pioneer, credited with reviving Apple a decade ago, the iPod line now accounts for only 7 percent of total revenue from Apple. IPhone and iPad, which offers music and video streaming and many other features, has somewhat outweighed the utility of iPod.

Last year, Apple has done that then-CEO Steve Jobs has called "the biggest change in the range iPod ever."

But in the midst of great change for Touch, Nano and Shuffle, no mention was made of the classic iPod, which has many speculating that the end might be near.
